CWDM Brief
With the rapid growth of IP service, the demand for bandwidth of transmission lines increases continuously. Though DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology services as the most effective solution for expansion of bandwidth, CWDM technology has advantages over the DWDM technology in terms of system costs, performance, maintenance, etc. Based on the market demand, Guangzhou Visint Communication Technology Co., LTD has developed CWDM equipments for applications in optical fibres G.652,G.653,G.655. They are the ideal choice for increasing MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) networking. Consideration of the capacity expansion of the equipments, CWDM&DWDM mixed equipments have a strong wave channel upgrading ability, which are the favorable choice in optimizing the network of the communication operators, reconstructing large customers network,and solving the short supply of the fiber service.

Compact CWDM Vispace 1000 is of high integration and small volume. 19 inch 1U box-type structure, convenient for installation and usage.

Rack-type Vispace series CWDM&DWDM mixed transmission equipments apply flexible and expandable modular structure, support online upgrading, and have DWDM wave channels which are convenient for upgrading and maintenance.
High Capacity
Apply single mode optical fibre to transmit at present. 8 wave channels of the compact equipments can be multiplexed with maximum rate of 2.5 Gbit/s per channel and a total capacity of 20 Gbit/s. When all-wave fibre is used, the rack-type equipment can be expanded to 32 channels with maximum rate of 10 Gbit/s and a capacity of 320 Gbit/s.
Flexible Networking
Be applicable to network structure of point-point, chain structure, ring structure, bidirectional transmission with single fibre, and point to multi-points.
Flexible Access for Various Rate
Be available for various rate accessing, and support professional network services such as Ethernet, PDH, SDH CATV.
Various Transmission Distance
Point to point transmission distance without relay is 30km,50km,80km,100km,120km and above.
Perfect Expansion
With 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16 wave channels, it can be expanded to more than 32 wave channels mixed with DWDM.
With 1+1 protection system for optical multiplexing.
The switching time for optical line is less than 30ms, guaranteeing a secure and reliable transmission line.
With 1+1 backup system for heat redundancy of power supply.
Open structure, support access and connection of various manufacturers equipment.
Transmission with Relay
When transmission distance over 80 KM without delay, various rate can be re-amplified, re-shaped and re-timed with relay equipment, which can extend transmission distance to 300KM.

Point-Point Networking
Point to point transmission via a pair of Vispace 1000 CWDM equipments
In point-point topological structures, the bandwidth can be expanded by our equipments based on the original limited optical fiber resource to carry out all the bidirectional business between this two points. It has much more cost-performance effectiveness than the traditional DWDM.
Apply Vispace 1000 equipments to construct a metro ring network
A symmetrical ring network can be constructed using multiple wave channels in a dual optical fiber resource, without interruption in intercommunications, which reflects advantages fully in WDM system and carries out the function of protection.
Chain Networking
Apply Rack-type Vispace 1000 equipments to construct a metro chain network
Different service can be carried out through adding or dropping different waves in channel based on the functions of WDM and OADM, with which to construct a chain network of metro communication
